Thanks to educational benefits that I earned by serving in the USMC, I was able to earn three university degrees. My Bachelor's of Science in Geology and Master's of Science in Geology are from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). I also have a Master's of Business Administration from The University of Houston.
Experience
I had the privilege of tutoring writing in college, and math for the athletic department at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). One friend of mine told me that had it not been for my help in her college math class, she does not feel that she could have graduated college. Of course, that's not true- the student is always responsible for their own work, and she, like YOU, put a lot of effort and overcame any obstacles that math class presented. Be positive! You CAN do this!

Hobbies
For me, tutoring math is actually fun. I enjoy seeing students get that "Aha!" moment, when they are understanding material that had previously scared them. There's really nothing to fear in your math class. During my free time I ride my bike, walk nearly every day, take salsa dancing lessons, and bone up on trivia (I've actually appeared on a TV Game Show).
