I have extensive experience tutoring in Spanish for all ages, but have focused mainly on high-school level students. I'm a native Spanish speaker, scored a 5 on the AP tests, and continued my studies in the Hispanic culture and nuances of the Spanish language through my college career. I've taught clarinet private lessons for all ages, as well as high-school level master classes for the past 7 years. My main educational background has focused on the hard sciences, namely neuroscience. Having completed my graduate studies, I've been working in a clinical research setting for the past two years. I have a number of peer reviewed publications, extensive training the biology and chemistry, and real-world experience in the research/medical field. I'm taking a year off of research and will be starting my PhD in neuroscience next year. I'm looking to spend this gap year focused exclusively on tutoring and studying myself.

I love dogs! My husband and I have three of them: a german shepherd, a lab mix, and a mystery mutt. I try to spend as much of my free time outside hiking, camping, etc..Big Bend is my favorite place to visit. I also build websites in my spare time, something I've been doing since high school.
