As a Graduate Research Assistant I substituted for Political Science professors. I am presently working as a Teaching Assistant in Political Science at a university. I love to teach. I plan to become an Adjunct Faculty, pursue a PhD in Political Science and become an Associate Professor. I have interned at a municipality, a county, worked in professional capacities in state government to include a Governor's Office, and worked in varying capacities at four different universities (Augusta State University, University of South Carolina, University of Texas, and Sam Houston State University.

Hobbies

I enjoy reading books on philosophy, political science, and political philosophy. I like to learn new information, put it together with old information, and write about it for the benefit of others. I am somewhat steeped in theology as well. I enjoy watching movies with my family and with elements of deeper meaning. I enjoy intellectual conversations on multiple topics. I am extremely personable and will take a sincere interest in the development of my student. I can push the thinking of my students toward deep, rational and critical thinking; introspective evaluation; external analysis and synthesis of information such that he/she becomes capable of high level independent thought in all areas of one's life learning to ask him/herself questions and then to provide his/her own answer. I challenge my student incrementally while at the same time building him/her up. Beside the attainment of knowledge of a specific area like Social Studies, expanding one's mind is the enduring aim of education. Ultimately my students are more intelligent, thoughtful, and complete persons.
