Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Texas A&M University. I am getting my Masters in Maritime Archaeology through Flinders University in Australia. I have a minor in both anthropology and business.

Experience

I am currently living in The Woodlands, about an hour away. I typically charge $45/hr for driving in, but if that is an issue, contact me anyway. I sure that we can work something out. In high school I was a member of the National English Honor Society. Through that group I was a Reading Buddy, which means that I worked on reading with either an elementary school or intermediate school child. I was a nanny for 2 children, one 9yrs old and another 13. I helped them with their school work, including reading, math, and science. My mother is an Elementary Teacher so I have been around children and schooling a lot. With the AP Exam I placed out of 2 semesters of History and 2 semesters of English. This semester I took Latin and Classical History. I had four years of Latin in High School, four semesters of German at Texas A&M, college level Chemistry, Biology, and physical anthropology at Texas A&M, as well as Calculus 1 and 2. I have played the piano for 10 years and have sung in a choir for over 10 years. I have a minor in Business and Anthropology. I have a wide range of anthropology/archaeology from cultural to Roman and Greek archaeology and architecture to maritime archaeology to cultural resource heritage law. I believe tutoring will be good experience because I want to become a professor.

Hobbies

I was member of the Texas A&M Women's Chorus, as well as the Brazos Valley Chorale. While in Australia I was a member of Flinders University Chorale and participated in two intervarsity choral festivals where we performed large works with conductors such as Brett Kelly. I like to read and watch soccer.
