I love to teach, especially French, and I have both the given knowledge and the acquired experience needed to do so in an efficient manner. From the enthusiasm needed to teach the basics of this beautiful language to the skills required to impart its more complex side, I have gotten the mastery of teaching French. I was born and grew up in the French region of a bilingual (Anglo-Saxon - British - and French) country. There I went to bilingual schools and selected the French system later on at the “fork class” (where you decide in which language you would like to pursue your education). There I had the pleasure of studying French literary works. I also took part during this time to bilingualism talk exchanges and other related activities such as high school exchange programs and events between schools from both the English and the French sides. I also had the privilege to be the president of the English Club in high school for 2 years. Early on, I got selected to provide consecutive interpreting services when the school had to host an important person who did not speak French. Out of high school, I went to a French university for a year on the French side, then to an English one for another year in the Anglo-Saxon region. I have provided French tutoring help to a few school mates, native French speakers, in view of the English quarterly tests, which they passed. This enhanced my tutoring experience; it allowed me to refine my teaching techniques and boosted my enthusiasm and strong desire to teach French with confidence. I also have great insight into the French culture from the strong French influence in my country of origin, as well as with casual interaction with French in-laws. I watch the news in French and read mostly in this language. I also stay updated as to the evolution of the language as provided by the Académie Française. I currently provide French tutoring for people of all ages. Personal abilities are relative, but nothing stands against a student who has the will, a few basic tools and a good teacher who respects and understands their needs and their thinking process. I take all these factors into account and adapt my teaching methods to each student as a unique individual.
